These end caps are needed to cap the ends of each lateral wire for all types of ClosetMaid wire shelving EXCEPT CloseMesh when you should use product code 840 - CloseMesh end caps, instead.
The end caps provide the finishing touch to ensure that the shelving you have installed looks neat & tidy and any rough edges are hidden away from view and will not snag on your clothes etc.
You will need the following quantity of end caps per shelf :-
SuperSlide 30.5cm/12" deep = 8 per shelf
SuperSlide 40.6cm/16" deep = 12 per shelf
Shelf & Rod 25.4cm/10" deep = 4 per shelf PLUS 4 x product code 204 (large end cap) or product code 168 for 'open ends'
Shelf & Rod 30.5cm/12" deep = 4 per shelf PLUS 4 x product code 204 (large end cap) or product code 168 for 'open ends'
Shelf & Rod 40.6cm/16" deep = 6 per shelf PLUS 4 x product code 204 (large end cap) or product code 168 for 'open ends'
Linen 22.9cm/9" deep = 8 per shelf
Linen 30.5cm/12" deep = 8 per shelf
Linen 40.6cm/16" deep = 12 per shelf
Linen 50.8cm/20" deep = 10 per shelf
Remember that if you are purchasing a 2.44m/8' length of shelving and cutting it into three smaller pieces you will need to order three times the end caps shown above.
