This handy little item allows you to turn your ordinary Linen or Shelf & Rod shelving into a SuperSlide hanging area.
It’s great for people who have changing needs. You may have found yourself buying a linen shelf just to use for folded garments but found that what you really want is to hang your garments.
All you do is to fit this bracket onto the front lip of the shelf and it will support your new hanger bar. It is only compatible with Shelf & Rod shelving and Linen shelving.
Please note that as this item fits to the front lip of the shelf, the hanger bar will be positioned the same distance from the back wall as the depth of the shelf i.e. if you fit to a 50.8cm / 20" deep Linen shelf the hanger bar will be 50.8cm / 20" forward from the rear wall of the enclosure. This will mean that when garments are hanging on the hanger bar the overall depth required will be 50.8cm / 20" PLUS the depth of the garments hanging in front of the shelf - normally approx 50cm - 60cm / 20" - 24".
The add a rod hang bar support is made from white plastic and comes with all necessary hardware.
You will also need to order SuperSlide hanger bar(s) - 2012, 2056, 2057, 2058, 2059 - depending on the size / quantity required for your project. End caps will also be needed - see 2081 and/or 2083
