When using shelf support poles to support the front edges of your shelves you will need pole clips. If you purchase a 1009, the pole will come with 6 pole clips of both types 977 & 978. However, if you are using contractor poles – 117/118, you will need to purchase the pole clips separately. If you plan to support CloseMesh, Linen, SuperSlide style shelving or 40.6cm/16" deep Shelf & Rod shelving with your pole then you will need to buy one of these pole clips for every shelf you are supporting per pole. These clips accomodate the smaller gauge wires located at the front edge of the shelf compared to the 977 clips which accommodate the larger gauge wires found athe the front lip of Shelf & Rod 25.4cm/10" of 30.5cm/12" deep shelving.
These clips are made from white plastic and are supplied complete with a 1/2" fixing screw suitable for support pole fixing.
