A great layout for kids aged 6 and above.
This layout uses our Shelf Track system, a fully adjustable fixing method. All you do is screw the hang track into the back wall at the top, hang the vertical wall standards from the hang track and screw them at one point along the length. The wall standards have slots for the shelf brackets to fit into at regular intervals, so as your child grows you can increase the height of the shelves or add more shelves as they accumulate more stuff! Perfect!
This system is also fantastic for people who only have a back wall to fix to! You don't need to fix to the side walls at all so you can create closet space anywhere!
This layout uses our 30.5cm/12" deep SuperSlide shelving (also available in 40.6cm/16" deep, please select the correct option when ordering. Ordering 40.6cm/16" deep shelving will incur a higher price bracket).
In this layout you will get 61cm/24" of two tier hanging for short hanging garments, and 61cm/24" of long hanging for dresses, overcoats etc.
This will also give you space to store items on top of the shelving as long as your closet height allows it. We reccommend a minimum ceiling height of 228cm/90" when using ShelfTrack, to allow for a long enough drop for garments, this may alter depending on the height of your child. We also recommend having an enclosure depth of atleast 56cm/22" to allow enough room for your garments.
All ShelfTrack systems are supplied with fixing kits designed to be used with solid walls, however we do also offer stud wall fixings so please be sure to select the correct option when ordering your closet.
