This is a fantastic layout that will suit kids of all ages!
Fully adjustable, the ShelfTrack fixing system is a great way to invest in storage soltuions! There are three simple steps to installing ShelfTrack:
1. Screw your hang track on to a back wall. ShelfTrack is great for people who dont have side walls to attach the shelving to as everything is fixed to the back wall only.
2. Hang your vertical wall standards from the hang track and screw them into position. The vertical wall standards have slots at regular intervals which allow you place your shelving at whatever height you require, and if your needs change, so can your closet!
3. Trim your shelving down to length and clip into the brackets! As simple as it sounds. Use a pair of boltcutters available at £12.99, or a hacksaw to trim the length of the shelving down, clip the shelves onto the brackets and your closet is fully functional!
This layout in a 2.44m/8' width (if you dont quite have 2.44m/8', you can trim the shelving and hang tracks down to your exact measurements) will give you a 91cm/36" wide section of two tier hanging for your short hanging garments, a 61cm/24" wide section of shelving for folded garments or linen and a 91cm/36" wide section of long hanging space for dresses or overcoats etc with a 91cm/36" shoe shelf below (fixed using regular fix).
We recommend that you be sure to have a minimum ceiling height of 228cm/90" to allow enough drop for your garments once the system is installed. We also recommend a minimum closet depth of 56cm/22" to allow for garments to hang properly.
This layout uses our 30.5cm/12" deep SuperSlide shelving system (SuperSlide is also available in 40.6cm/16" deep. Using 40.6cm/16" deep shelving will incur a higher price bracket. Please select the correct option when ordering.) which uses a separate hang bar with uniquely shaped brackets that allow you to glide your coat hangers along the hang bar without interruption!
Unless otherwise informed we will assume that you will be fixing this system onto solid (Brick walls) and will therefore provide you with solid wall fixings. However if you are fixing this system into a stud wall (ShelfTrack is able to fix to stud walls as long as they have been built up to standard building regulations) please select the correct option when ordering to be sure to get the correct hardware.
